Who are we looking for
ZORA is seeking a Finance Lead to join its team. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. As a strategic partner, you will work with the team to improve existing reports and create new processes.
What will you do
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to create projections and provide actionable insights about hiring plans, budgets for teams, and improving financial performance.
- Give concise written and oral analysis of financial performance to leaders and make data-driven recommendations
- Assist in the creation and implementation of best practices for company cryptocurrency holdings. This includes security, tracking and reconciliation as well as auditing.
- Ensure accountability, process improvement and standardization.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable of our company, track company spending, and prepare financial reports monthly or quarterly.
- Increase the company’s financial policies and processes.
- Prepare monthly-end and quarterly reports to management. These reports include standard financial statements and projections. Periodic business reviews and financial planning are also possible.
Skills We’re Looking for
- 5+ years experience in Accounting, Controller, or FP&A
- Experience of over 3+ years working in an administrative capacity with crypto wallets or exchanges
- Experience with equity stock planning and fundraising rounds.
- You have strong communication skills that allow you to communicate and present information at different levels of complexity and depth.
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within a deadline-driven environment and maintain a high degree of precision

- You can use and navigate Etherscan or BitWave, CoinTracker or any other crypto accounting software.
- You will have the opportunity to work with a small and fast-moving team in a startup setting.
