Job Responsibilities Of Sous Chef Jobs in Malta
- You must learn how to make new foods according to season and customer demand.
- Your fellow employees will need to assist you in designing the meals
- You must ensure food movement and prepare and deliver food to customers on time
- Your fellow chef must help you cook the food
- Customer problems and concerns must be addressed personally
- Keep track of your customer’s inventory, and if necessary, order additional supplies.
- Assist the kitchen staff in tasks such as line cooking, food preparation and dish plating
- Interview candidates for new positions in the restaurant or kitchen.
- Create a program to train kitchen workers in new recipes.
- It is important to explain cleanliness to all kitchen workers. Train them to clean the kitchen. Also, explain what the day entails.
- In the absence of the executive chefs, you will be responsible for the kitchen and restaurant and provide guidance and support to all staff members.
Job Requirements of Sous Chef Jobs in Malta
- A Sous chef work experience certificate is required.
- A certificate of sous chef work experience should be between 5 and 7 years.
- You should have skills in cutting fruits and vegetables.
- You must have previous experience in the kitchen.
